Built to API 618 specifications, Sundyne (formerly Pressure Products Industries) diaphragm compressors safely handle corrosive, volatile, toxic, radioactive, expensive, and ultra-pure gasses.
The Sundyne PPI diaphragm compressors do not use lubricants in the gas stream, so they do not contaminate the process gasses. Additionally, diaphragm compressors do not use dynamic seals making the technology virtually leak proof. In most cases, static o-rings are sufficient and considered leak free by most users. Many critical applications use metal to metal sealing.
The 1500 Series compressors are ideal for pilot plants and R&D facilities, and larger sizes can product pressures above 16,000 psi and displacement up to 146 cubic feet per minute.
