We are proud to announce that our Service Center in Fort Mill, SC has been named as an Sundyne Authorized Service Center. This is a big accomplishment as it requires compliance with the ChannelONE service and sales excellence program. Being factory authorized means that we now can handle all warranty and repair issues on Sundyne products including Sundyne pumps and compressors, Sunflo and Ansimag pumps. A special thanks for getting us authorized goes out to Misael Samboy, the manager of the service center, Robert Bales, his right hand man and Trent Barker, who assisted in getting not only the shop set up, but creating the documentation tools required to meet the ChannelONE criteria. Of course we continue to welcome the opportunity to assist you with all of your pump service needs.

Happy New Year everyone! Yeah, we’re a little late but this is technically our first newsletter of 2012 so we thought it appropriate. That being said, we hope 2012 is starting off great (and profitable) for all of you. Many of you have likely heard the popular phrase “With a new year comes new beginnings,” and we are excited to announce a few of our own:

Taylor Elliott has moved up (literally and figuratively) into a customer service role where she will be assisting customers with quoting and ordering various pump parts across all of our distribution lines. Taylor will be utilizing many of the skills she obtained in her previous role as our receptionist/sales expediter to transition smoothly into her new position as a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative.

Niki Bush has Joined EW Process as a new member. She will be taking over where Taylor left off. Niki is from just down the road—Rock Hill, South Carolina. She attended school at Johnson & Wales in Charleston South Carolina where she trained to be a pastry chef. Since graduation she’s had the opportunity to work in New York City and New Orleans before moving back to South Carolina. She’s catching on quickly and we are excited to have her.

Last but not least, EW Process is excited to welcome Robert Bales to the team. Robert joins the soon-to-be famous Misael Samboy in our Service Center where he will assist with shipping and pump repairs. He is from right here in Fort Mill and so far is proving to be a perfect addition to the team.

Again, congratulations to all three.

January found a new—yet familiar—face atop the Salesman of the Month rankings. Jeff McConaghy ran away with the honor while Brian Kulik followed in a not-too-distant second. Good Job Jeff!

Finally, it has been a month since the calendar turned over from 2011 to 2012 and we get the sneaking suspicion that some of you might be struggling to follow through with some of those New Years’ resolutions (Trent’s Spanish is coming along….uhhh…nevermind). With that in mind, here are a couple tips to keep those promises to yourself that you thought important enough to make a ‘Resolution’:

Make It a Goal
Some resolutions can be too vague to be actionable. Turn your resolution into a goal. The difference between a resolution and a goal is that you know when you’ve met a goal.

Be Specific
Don’t be vague! A goal to lose weight is vague. More specifically your goal might be to eat small, healthy meals, do cardio for an hour a day and lift weights every other day for 30 minutes until you lose 10 pounds, lower your blood pressure by 30 points and are able do 50 push-ups. See the difference?

Break It Into Actionable Steps
Divide your goal into small actionable steps. For example, if you want to write a novel you might… 1. Think of 20 plots. 2. Choose one. 3. Outline the chapters. 4. Write each chapter. 5. Edit. 6. Have someone else edit. 7. Search for publishers etc. etc. etc.

Keep Visual Reminders
Wear a ring, hang a note on your bathroom mirror or keep a note or photo in your wallet reminding you of your goal.

Write it down!
